Green (Age Group) |

• 8&U and 9-10 swimmers
•Emphasis on strong technique in all 4 strokes through the use of drills and games
•Starts, turns, and basic rules of competitive swimming are also emphasized

White (Age Group) |
M T W F 4:30-5:45pm YMCA Th 3:45-5:00pm Sat. 7:30 - 9:00am YMCA |
•9-10 and some 11-12 swimmers
•For swimmers who can complete training sets in all 4 strokes
•Includes monitoring technique during the completion of longer swims/sets

•CHY’s top age group practice group
•11&up and 10 yr olds with “AA” times
•Strong technical training as well as an increase in interval and endurance training
•Racing strategies and mental preparation are introduced

M-F 4:40- 6:30 Sportsplex Sat. 8:00- 10:00am Sportsplex |
•CHY’s intro to senior level swimming
•Also for 13 & over (or soon to be 13) seasonal swimmers, multi-sport athletes
•Includes polishing strokes, starts, and turns
•General distance and IM work

Senior 1 Group (Senior) |
M-F 4:40- 6:30 Sportsplex Sat. 8:00- 10:00am Sportsplex |
•For swimmers committed to meeting full swimming potential
•Endurance, strength, speed conditioning, technique refinement
•Prepares swimmers for stronger commitment to the sport
•Strength training may be utilized upon consensus between swimmer, coach, and parent

National Group (Senior) |
M-F 4:30- 6:30 Sportsplex Sat. 8:00- 10:00am Sportsplex M, W, F (AM) 6:15 - 7:00 am @ YMCA |
•For athletes fully committed to swimming
•Training is geared toward national competition and beyond
•Strength training is integrated through 3 morning weight training sessions at the YMCA
•5 swim practices and the 3 strength training sessions are required
